** Please Note **

This web site and the manufacture of radar mounting brackets and mirrors containing Valentine1 display was estableshed mainly as a part time hobby. A new job and other commitments mean that I do not have the time to spend on this at this time and as such will not be providing any products for the forseeable future.

** Business Opportunity? **

The process to create these mirrors and the radar mounting brackets took a lot of time and experimentation to perfect, if either of these things are something you would be interested in pursuing I would be pleased to discuss arrangements for selling the process I devised such that you can build and sell your own mirrors. For an appropriate fee I would be happy to fully explain the full end to end process, the tools, techniques and processes involved to reliably modify mirrors and provide you with all of the required information to pursue this yourself. If this is something that may interest you please drop an email to info@radarrack.com

Welcome to RadarRack: innovative, custom mounting solutions for your radar detector. While the original RadarRack was designed and developed to offer a more convenient mounting solution for a radar detector in a Porsche Boxster, the initial Boxster models can be easily customized to suit other cars. If you have a need, feel most welcome to email us and we can work together on a solution. See the all new RadarRack for the Porsche 996/997 models below!

Porsche Boxster

The standard RadarRack for the Boxster slides beneath the rear cubby or speaker and is held securely in place. The "rack" then sits in front of the rear screen providing a stable platform for your readar detector, with good front and rear visibility. You should note that such a position makes it difficult to see the contol panel on the unit, so this mounting position is most suited to radar detectors with a remote display unit such as the Valentine1™ Radar Detector (V1).

Once installed, the RadarRack is unobtrusive and keeps the radar detector out of direct sight, unlike a glaringly obvious windshield mounting bracket. If required the radar detector or the entire rack can be quickly and easily removed for secure storage or for use in another vehicle sinice it is attached using a Velcro™ strip.

Custom engraving is available as an option on your RadarRack for a small charge, if you would like to discuss this option please send us an email detailing your requirements we can discuss engraving / etching choices.

Porsche 996/997 Models

Following on from the success of the RadarRack for the Porsche Boxster we are pleased to be able to introduce an all new model for the Porsche 996.997 model range. This RadarRack mounts between the rear seats and slides in to the standard opening below the seat back for stability. Once in place the RadarRack is almost impossible to see except for the small clear portion supporting the radar detector.

Once installed the radar detector sits unobtrusively between the rear seats with a clear view both forward and backwards to look out for threats. The cable for the detector can be run down behind the seats to the front of the car to connect to a remote display and power connection.

Once the seat is raised the radar detector sits unobtrusively above the seat back. To maintain a clear field of vision and to ensure the rear view is not obscured the detector is kept low near the seats.

From outside the detector blends with the interior of the car, if required the unit can be further disguised by covering the display and other text on the rear of the unit. If necessary the unit can easily be removed and stowed securely when the car is parked.

Remember, to be effective your radar detector will always have to be visible, a rear-mounted detector however is much more subtle than one attached to the windshield where people expect to find them.

Different Car?

The design philosophy for the RadarRack is quite straightforward and can easily be tailored to fit other cars: The units could screw in place, attach with sticky pads or Velcro. If you have a custom installation you'd like to discuss please, send us an email! We'd love to hear from you!
